The arrest stemmed from an incident on Thursday, March 21 just before 2:30 a.m., when Wilton Police stopped a black 2015 Subaru Impreza that had been traveling north on Danbury Road (Route 7), according to the department.
The driver, Ridgefield resident Adrienne Allen, appeared to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and admitted to drinking before driving. She then failed a field sobriety test and was arrested for DUI, police said.
Her blood alcohol was later found to be 0.1358 and 0.1310 consecutively, authorities added.
After being charged with DUI and traffic offenses, Allen was allowed to pay seven percent of her $250 bond. She will appear in Stamford Superior Court on Wednesday, April 3 at 10 a.m.
